Need a fill-up? 3 Broomfield gas stations sell fuel for under $1.85, tracker says

Is your car thirsty for a full tank? There are three Broomfield gas stations that priced fuel for about $1.84 per gallon, according to an online tracker.

The three stations run along the north side of West 120th Avenue between Lowell and Sheridan boulevards, according to gas price tracker GasBuddy.

An Exxon, Murphy USA and a Sinclair station each share that low price along the mile-long stretch of road. (The Exxon price was listed as 10 hours ago, the tracker displayed shortly before 10 a.m. Friday.)

That price is just above what was, as of Sunday, the lowest price in Colorado, according to GasBuddy price reports. That price was $1.82 per gallon, according to a news release. Gas prices were below $3 per gallon on average across the United States as of Monday, according to a GasBuddy news release.

According to GasBuddy’s list of top 10 “Cheap Fuel Prices” in Colorado, several stations in the Denver and Aurora areas priced gas at $1.69 per gallon as of Friday.

Nationally, gas hasn’t been this cheap for years. The national average price of gasoline has fallen below $3 per gallon for the first time since May 2021, a GasBuddy Nov. 28 news release said.
