New clue in search for boys aged 16 and 17 who went missing over three weeks ago

Police are trying to locate two teenage boys who have been reported missing. Extensive enquiries are ongoing to find Jaydan Hatch, 17, and Alfie Armstrong, 16. They are both from outside of the Northumbria Police force area.

Two teenage boys missing for over three weeks were seen near Newcastle this week in a fresh clue which could help find them.

Jaydan Hatch, 17, and Alfie Armstrong, 16, were spotted together in South Tyneside on Thursday.

Sharing photographs of the boys on social media today, Northumbria Police said ‘extensive enquiries are ongoing’ to find them.

Jaydan was reported as missing a month ago on September 18, and Alfie a week later, on September 26.

They are both from outside of the Northumbria Police force area.

Police said both have been spoken to on the phone.

Anyone with information about Jaydan or Alfie’s whereabouts have been asked to contact Northumbria Police.
