ArtNow submissions open
New Museum Los Gatos is accepting submissions for ArtNow, an annual juried high school art exhibition, until Jan. 25.
The theme is “Before/Between/Beyond.” According to a press release, “Before” can mean the forces that shape habits, heritage, memories, surroundings and historical events. “Between” references the attempts to break those patterns or maintain them. “Beyond” envisions how awareness can shape futures.
The program is open to all Santa Clara County high school students. Exhibiting artists will be announced on Feb. 20.
