Nuggets point guard Jamal Murray was added to the team’s injury report Thursday, four hours before an elimination game against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Murray was listed as questionable to play in Game 6 of the second-round playoff series due to illness. He has been dealing with an illness since the first round but hasn’t missed a game.
The Nuggets trail 3-2 to Oklahoma City and must win Thursday to keep their season alive. Murray, 28, is averaging 21.4 points, 4.4 rebounds and 4.6 assists in the series while shooting 40% from the field and 34% from 3-point range.
The Nuggets have had a bug going around the team throughout the playoffs, extending all the way to traveling support staffers and front office employees.
Game 6 against the Thunder tips off at 6:30 p.m. MT at Ball Arena. If the Nuggets win, they’ll force a Game 7 to be played Sunday in Oklahoma City.
