
Police have launched a manhunt to find a group of thugs who attacked an off-duty officer at Wood Green London Underground station.
British Transport Police said the victim challenged a group who attempted to barge through barriers without tickets at 4.20 pm on Thursday, June 12.
The force said she was then attacked by the mob, who punched and kicked her before throwing a drink over her head.
CCTV images have been released of the alleged attackers, showing four teenage girls and two teenage boys.
A British Transport Police spokesperson said: ‘Detectives investigating an assault at Wood Green Underground Station have today released these images in connection.
‘She was set upon by the group, who punched and kicked her and threw a drink over her head.
‘Officers would like to speak to the people pictured as they believe they could have information which could help their investigation.’





In June, a fare dodger tried to make a run for it when he was confronted about his declined payment.

Cracking down on fare dodging is expensive for Transport for London, and it continues to flare up emotions as paying commuters shell out chunks of their income on travel.
One suspected fare evader was caught in action at Kingston station, which is a hotspot for fare dodging.
‘It doesn’t work, that’s what I’m trying to tell you,’ he responds after claiming that ‘the guy let me through at Clapham Junction.’
Jane says that it is ‘because it has been blocked by the issuer.’
When he taps his card, it was declined.
He then bursts through the barrier – but directly into the arms of police officers standing by the gates.
