A person was found shot to death early Wednesday in Douglas on the South Side.
Around 2:40 a.m., a person only identified as a female was found with a gunshot wound to her neck on the sidewalk in the first block of West 27th Street, Chicago police said.
She was dead at the scene, police said.
No one was in custody and Area Three detectives are investigating.
