SAN MATEO – One person was killed and two others were injured in a crash Thursday night in San Mateo, authorities said.
The collision was reported just after 6:15 p.m. at Alameda de las Pulgas and the eastbound Highway 92 off-ramp.
A black SUV crashed into a light pole, according to California Highway Patrol dispatch logs.
A San Mateo Police Department spokesperson confirmed one person was killed and two others were taken to a trauma center.
Additional details about the collision were not immediately available.
The Alameda de las Pulgas on- and off-ramps were closed following the crash, the CHP said.
