Snow or no snow, Chicago’s overnight parking ban is set to begin Monday.
The parking ban is enforced on 107 miles of main streets and is enforced between 3 a.m. to 7 a.m. every night from Dec. 1 to April 1, according to the Department of Streets and Sanitation.
Those who violate the parking ban will be towed and face a minimum $150 towing fee, a $60 ticket, and a storage fee of $25 per day. Vehicles are towed to pounds at 10301 S. Doty Ave. or 701 N. Sacramento.
In an unusual reprieve last year, the city delayed the parking ban one day to Dec. 2, but 244 drivers were still towed that morning.
The overnight ban will be in effect on streets that include parts of Milwaukee, Madison, Division, Central, Archer, Kedzie, King, Cottage Grove, 79th and 103rd.
To check if your car was towed, visit chicagoshovels.org or call 311.
Here’s a map of the streets affected by the ban.
