Palantir plans to move office from downtown Denver to Cherry Creek

Five years after moving its headquarters from Silicon Valley to Denver, Palantir is plotting a move within the city.

The publicly traded software company is building out an 11,400-square-foot office at 205 N. Detroit St. in Cherry Creek, according to public records.

Palantir did not respond to a request for comment Wednesday. The building’s landlord, Sagard Real Estate, declined to comment.

Palantir is currently headquartered in the Tabor Center at 1200 17th St. downtown, where it’s been for four years. It moved Silicon Valley to Denver in 2020, finding a temporary home at 1555 Blake St. at first.

Public records show the company taking all of the sixth floor and part of the seventh inside the eight-story Financial House building in Cherry Creek, with buildout costs at $227,000. Rand Construction is the general contractor and M Moser Associates is the architect.

Palantir’s stock has more than doubled this year, giving the company a $400 billion market cap. It is the state’s most valuable company.

Oceanside Ten Holdings, a private equity holding company, previously occupied Palantir’s future space in Financial House, according to public records. It was one of the initial tenants of the building completed in 2019 by local firms BMC Investments and Bow River Capital. They sold the building that year for $55 million to Sagard, formerly EverWest Real Estate Investors.
