Person of interest sought in Half Moon Bay stabbing
HALF MOON BAY – Authorities are asking for the public’s help in identifying a person of interest in a stabbing Sunday in Half Moon Bay.

The incident happened during a large fight around 12:15 a.m. at Old Princeton Landing, a bar and restaurant at 460 Capistrano Road, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies arrived to find a person suffering from a stab wound, the sheriff’s office said. The person was taken to a hospital, where they were listed in stable condition.
Deputies recovered the knife used in the stabbing, but they did not find the suspect.
On Monday, the sheriff’s office released a photo of a person of interest in the incident. Witnesses described him as Latino, in his mid-30s and bald. He possibly has a neck tattoo.
The sheriff’s office called the stabbing an “isolated incident” and said “there is believed to be no ongoing threat to the community.”
