Petaluma police arrest two on drug charges

Two individuals were arrested after a late-night encounter in a business parking lot in the 500 block of Lakeville Street, Petaluma police said.

Sunnyvale business robbed by armed suspects

Christopher Hyde, 30, Jessica Atta, 42, were arrested on Thursday around 11:15 p.m. on suspicion of drug sales and possession of drug paraphernalia, per the Petaluma Police Department.

An officer contacted the two individuals and learned one was on searchable probation.

During the search, the officer found 30 grams of suspected methamphetamine in pre-packaged quantities on Hyde, police said.

Hyde was placed under arrest on suspicion of drug sales.

He was booked into the Sonoma County Jail.

Officers found drug paraphernalia on Atta, and she was arrested for violation of probation and possession of drug paraphernalia.
