TORONTO — The Dodgers and Blue Jays have already provided their share of drama in this World Series, from an 18-inning walk-off win to Friday’s game-inning double play. Can they finish it off with one last thriller in Game 7?
Expect to see several starting pitchers coming out of the bullpen on shorter rest than usual as the teams engage in a winner-take-all chess match.
Shohei Ohtani is starting on the mound for the Dodgers on three days of rest, while the Blue Jays are handing the ball to future Hall of Famer Max Scherzer.
Here are some early images from the scene at the Rogers Centre … with more to come as the game progresses.
