Photos: The Santa Clara County Fair rolls into town
The Santa Clara County Fair began its 81st anniversary season on Wednesday afternoon with a ribbon cutting. The fair features family entertainment, such as magic shows and pony rides, live music, “extreme shows,” such as water acrobatics and motorcycle stunts, a petting zoo, fair food, multiple exhibits, arts and a livestock auction, among other activities.
Saturday should be the big day for the Fair, with four-time Grammy winners Los Lobos and Friends performing at 7 p.m. at the Pavilion Stage following a 6 p.m. parade with floats, music and dancers.
Information about the fair, along with a link to purchase tickets, can be found at www.thefair.org
