A JetBlue plane rolled off the runway and into a grass area while landing at an airport in Boston this morning.
JetBlue flight 312 skid off the payment hours after an Air India plane heading to London crashed in Ahmedabad and killed at least 244 people.
The JetBlue plane, an Airbus A220, ‘went into the grass while turning off the runway at Boston Logan International Airport’ around 11.55am, stated the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

No one was injured in the JetBlue incident, according to the Massachusetts Port Authority.
Passengers exited the aircraft using stairs, said a Massport spokesperson.
‘The runway is closed at this time as the aircraft is assessed and passengers are bussed to the terminal,’ stated the agency.
A passenger on another airplane took a photograph that showed several emergency vehicles and fire engines going to the JetBlue plane.
Tyesha Best, president of Transport Workers Union of America Local 579, the union that represents JetBlue flight attendants, said that ‘all crew and customers are safe’.
‘We remain in contact with the company to provide all needed support for those affected,’ Best told CNN.
Flight 312 departed from Chicago O’Hare International Airport.
The FAA said it put a ground stop to flights at Logan at 1pm until about 2pm ‘due to aircraft emergency’, and that it could be extended. The agency is investigating the incident.
Flights departing from Logan have been delayed by an average of 30 minutes.
The plane is being examined for any mechanical issues.The cause of the incident was not immediately known.
Air India Flight 171, a Boeing 787 Dreamliner, possibly lost power suddenly after takeoff, according to experts.
The Air India plane was carrying 53 British nationals, 169 Indian nationals, seven Portuguese nationals and a Canadian. A 40-year-old British man has been hospitalized and is believed to be the only survivor.
It is the deadliest aviation disaster in India since 1996.
