Police arrest 2 suspects in Sherman Oaks and Westside burglaries

Two men suspected of burglaries in Sherman Oaks and the Westside have been arrested.

Officers from the Van Nuys Division responded to the 3000 block of Longridge Avenue, near Mulholland Drive, around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday regarding a burglary in progress, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The officers observed a vehicle occupied by the suspects in the 2000 block of Coldwater Canyon Avenue, about five miles away, where a traffic stop was initiated, resulting in the arrests of two suspects.

Detectives identified the suspects Thursday as 22-year-old Keyshawn Isom and 24-year-old Damond Collier, both residents of Los Angeles, with bail set at $50,000.

Isom and Collier are also suspected of committing a burglary in the LAPD’s West Los Angeles Division, police said.
