Detectives are conducting a homicide investigation after a man was found dead in an Avalon Park home Wednesday, Chicago police said.
The man, 72, was found unresponsive in a bathtub about 2:50 p.m. inside a home in the 7700 block of South Avalon Avenue, according to police, who did not say how he died.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. An autopsy was scheduled for Thursday.
