Police who responded to two people possibly asleep in a car along a northwest suburban Crystal Lake road Tuesday morning found them dead.
It happened about 5:30 a.m. in the 700 block of Coventry Lane, where officers found Yeisimar Morales-Sanchez, age 20 and of of Crystal Lake, and Kirby Graham, 31, of Grayslake, unresponsive and with no obvious signs of injury, according to police and the McHenry County coroner’s office.
Public safety personnel quickly started life-saving measures but they were ultimately unsuccessful and the McHenry County Coroner was called to the scene to assist.
Autopsies are scheduled for Thursday.
Police said the case is considered an active investigation and while evidence is still being gathered, there is no danger to the public.
