A porn star ‘decapitated and dismembered’ a couple before freezing part of their remains and taking the rest to the Clifton Suspension Bridge, a court has been told.

Yostin Andrew Mosquera is accused of murdering Albert Alfonso, 62, and Paul Longworth, 71, on July 8 last year in the couple’s flat in Shepherd’s Bush, west London.

Mosquera, 35, has admitted the manslaughter of Mr Alfonso but denies murdering both of them.

Prosecutor Deanna Heer KC told jurors at the Old Bailey on Wednesday that Mosquera ‘could hardly deny’ killing Mr Alfonso, telling them the attack took place while the defendant and Mr Alfonso were having sex.

Both the sex and the killing were filmed.

But Mosquera blames Mr Alfonso for the death of Mr Longworth.

Release date ? July 11, 2024. A manhunt is underway after a man 'dumped two suitcases full of human remains' on Clifton Suspension Bridge. Police were called to a report of a person acting suspiciously on the landmark at 11.57pm last night, Wednesday July 10. The man had disappeared, but officers made a grim discovery when they checked the contents of a suitcase. A second suitcase was located nearby a short time later. The incident sparked a significant emergency response - including a police helicopter and HM Coastguard helicopter. Avon and Somerset Police say that "locating the man who left the suitcases and identifying the deceased are our priorities", with the Major Crime Investigation Team launching an urgent probe.

Mr Alfonso, who worked as a swimming instructor, and retired handyman Mr Longworth were described by neighbours as a ‘friendly couple who seemed happy together and who were genuinely fond of one another’.

The couple entered a civil partnership in February 2023.

Mr Alfonso liked ‘extreme sex’, the court heard, and while Mr Longworth knew about it and accepted, he had ‘nothing to do’ with it.

Mr Alfonso would engage in acts with other men, including Mosquera, and the defendant was described by the prosecution as a ‘pornographic performer’.

Mosquera visited the UK more than once and spent time with Mr Alfonso and Mr Longworth, engaging in sex acts with the former in exchange for payment.

The couple also visited the defendant in his home country of Colombia, the jury was told.

But ahead of Mosquera’s visit to London last July, analysis of his computer allegedly showed he had searched for the value of their home, browsed Facebook marketplace for a chest freezer, copied spreadsheets containing Mr Alfonso’s online banking details, and searched for ‘serial killers of London’.

On July 8, Mosquera allegedly killed Mr Longworth and Mr Alfonso in their flat and then ‘set about trying to steal from them’, the court heard.

Mr Longworth was hit in the back of the head multiple times with a hammer, which shattered his skull, while Mr Alfonso was stabbed multiple times in the torso, body, face and neck.

Two days later, on the night of July 10, a cyclist on the Clifton Suspension Bridge in Bristol spotted Mosquera standing next to a large red suitcase and stopped to see if he was OK, the court heard.

The witness also spied a large silver trunk a few metres away. Mosquera told him the luggage contained car parts, jurors were told.

But the suitcases ‘contained the decapitated and dismembered bodies of Paul Longworth and Albert Alfonso, which the defendant had transported to Bristol from their home in London where they had been killed two days before,’ Ms Heer told the jury.

The rest of their remains were found in a chest freezer in their flat.

‘The prosecution case is that the defendant murdered both men, that he intended to kill them, that his actions were planned and premeditated and that, having killed them, he immediately set about trying to steal from them,’ Ms Heer said.

The trial continues.
