Prince Andrew appears to have given up the personalised Duke of York registration plate on his new Range Rover.

The scandal-ridden royal is thought to have dropped the number plates AY02 DOY and AY03 DOY.

The plates are no longer registered with a vehicle, records with the Driving and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) show.

They previously adorned his two green Range Rovers and a Bentley, but are no longer in use, the Mirror reports.

Registration AY02 DOY used to be on his two dark green Range Rovers and is no longer in use.

One of the SUVs was reportedly sold in November last year for £50,000 after it had clocked just 11,000 miles in three years.

Andrew then upgraded his wheels to a new, automatic Range Rover, which cost £115,000, and has a number plate KN74 EFK, according to the Mirror.

On his £220,000 Bentley, Prince Andrew perviously had the personalised plate AY03 DOY, but the car appears to have been removed from DVLA records.

He was often spotted driving his Range Rover around the Windsor grounds.

While Andrew’s former plates are not available to buy, similar plates with registration AY13 DOY is selling for £250, while AY15 DOY can be purchased for £399.

It is not known when the registrations were taken out of use, but the 65-year-old royal agreed to give up his titles after ongoing pressure due to his links with Jeffrey Epstein.

Prince Andrew gave up his titles, like the Duke of York and Knight of the Garter (KG), voluntarily before coming under further pressure from Buckingham Palace, which is said to be frustrated by the non-stop scandals.

In another blow, it was revealed that Andrew hosted Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell and Harvey Weinstein at the Royal Lodge, where he has lived rent-free for over two decades.

He is thought to be preparing to move out of the residence following the publication of Virginia Giuffre’s posthumous memoir.

The trio’s visit to the Royal Lodge for Beatrice’s 18th birthday came just two months after a US arrest warrant had been issued for Epstein over sexual assault of a minor.
