Prince Harry of England revealed that he wants to work at Disneyland during an ABC interview on the 70th anniversary of the Anaheim theme park.
“I can imagine myself working there,” Prince Harry said during the “20/20” interview.
“You know, life is full of surprises,” his wife Meghan Markle said with a smile while sitting at his side.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex raved about their visit to Disneyland in June with their kids Princess Lilibet and Prince Archie to celebrate Lili’s fourth birthday during “The Happiest Story on Earth” special on ABC’s “20/20” newsmagazine TV show.
“It brings out the kid in you again,” Prince Harry said of the Disneyland visit.

Prince Harry probably doesn’t need the money, but plenty of people work at Disneyland as their “fun job.”
What could Harry do at Disneyland?
He actually has a pretty strong résumé for a royal.
His longest work experience: Ten years of military service as an army officer and pilot, including two tours of duty in Afghanistan.
Disney has hired thousands of veterans and active-duty military personnel since the inception of the company’s Heroes Work Here program in 2012.
Harry has founded and worked for several charities, foundations and organizations like the Invictus Games, Sentebale, Archewell, BetterUp and Travalyst through the years.
The Disneyland resort gave $1 million in grants to local nonprofits and school districts in 2024 as part of its community workforce development initiative.
Harry could certainly find work at Disneyland helping veterans or charities, but those would be desk jobs at Team Disney Anaheim. There are plenty of roles available if Harry wants to work inside Disneyland or Disney California Adventure as a cast member, Disney parlance for employees.

Fantasyland would be the most logical place for Harry to get a job as a ride operator.
King Arthur Caroussel, named for the legendary ruler of Britain, would be the perfect ride for the fifth in line to the British throne.
The Alice in Wonderland dark ride, Mad Tea Party teacups ride and Peter Pan’s Flight are all set in England. Plus Harry could work with Tiger Lily on the Peter Pan dark ride to the delight of his daughter Lili.
Harry could lean into his English heritage if he landed a job at the Jolly Holiday cafe (Mary Poppins), Red Rose Taverne restaurant (Beauty and the Beast), Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh dark ride or Pooh Corner candy kitchen.

The prince might feel right at home at the Corn Dog Castle food stand as a former resident of Kensington Palace.
He could double down on his princehood as a host at the Royal Hall princess meet-and-greet experience or assume the theatrical role of Mr. Smythe or Mr. Jones during Storytelling at the Royal Theatre.
Roasted chicken is Harry’s favorite food, according to his biographer. Docking Bay 7 serves Endorian Roasted Chicken in the Star Wars-themed restaurant. The Rebel Alliance is always looking for good line cooks in Galaxy’s Edge.
Harry loves an animal-style In-N-Out Double Double Burger. Carnation Cafe serves the best burger at Disneyland and Lamplight Lounge takes the honors at Disney California Adventure. Maybe Harry would like an everyman job flipping burgers.

There are plenty of Disneyland and DCA attractions where Harry could be a ride operator.
Prince Harry rode Splash Mountain with his brother Prince William and his mother Princess Diana during a family vacation to Florida’s Magic Kingdom in 1993.
Harry rode Space Mountain a dozen times as a kid.
“Space Mountain was one of my favorite things,” Harry said during the “20/20” interview.
The indoor roller coaster is still his favorite Disneyland ride, Markle said during the interview.

Princess Lilibet and Prince Archie rode Rise of the Resistance, Radiator Springs Racers, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters with their parents during their visit in June.
One last Disneyland job might appeal to Prince Harry: Special Events Coordinator.
The lineup of after-hours, separate admission events includes Disneyland After Dark, Oogie Boogie Bash, Halloween Half Marathon and Grad Nite.
“One of my biggest experiences at Disneyland was going for Grad Nite,” Markle said during the “20/20” interview. “Grad Nite is all high school seniors. You go after hours. It’s dark.”
“That sounds like a lot of fun,” Prince Harry said during the interview. “That’s something I should probably do. Can you do that in your 40s?”
