Prince Harry twice came ‘within feet’ of known stalker during UK trip last month

Prince Harry reportedly came almost face-to-face with his suspected stalker while visiting the UK.
The Duke of Sussex is thought to have twice walked past an obsessed woman during his visit to the UK last month.
The woman is said to have previously followed him and Meghan Markle halfway around the world.
The 41-year-old royal reportedly first came within a few feet of the woman on September 9 at a hotel in London where Harry attended the WellChild Awards, according to the Daily Mail.
The woman is thought to have come within feet of the Duke of Sussex and his Range Rover in west London last month

The close call is thought to have happened after the woman was able to enter the secure zone.
Two days later, the woman was stopped by Prince Harry’s staff outside the Centre for Blast Injury Studies in west London.
There was no police presence at the time, the outlet reports.

The woman, whose name has not been released, is thought to be on a list of people known to be obsessed with Harry compiled by private detectives for his private security team.
Her mental health status is not known.

The lack of police protection has become a sore point for the Duke after a row over his security arrangements.
Prince Harry lost his Court of Appeal challenge questioning the decision to withdraw his previous, full-level security when visiting the UK.
The full, publicly funded security protection was withdrawn after Harry and Meghan moved their family to the US in March 2020 and stopped being working senior royals.
Currently, full-time security is given to King Charles and Queen Camilla, and the Prince and Princess of Wales and their children.
