The White Sox lost to the Toronto Blue in seven innings Tuesday after rain cut the game short.
The umpires put the game on hold at 8:41 p.m. in the top of the seventh inning as rain passed through Chicago, and it was called about 10 p.m.
The red-hot Blue Jays poured it on Sox starter Aaron Civale for five runs in the third inning, and Toronto pitcher Chris Bassitt had stymied his one-time team except for a solo homer by Sox infielder Josh Rojas in the bottom of the sixth inning.
The Jays have won 10 in a row.
