ATLANTA — The start of the White Sox’ series opener against the Braves was delayed Monday evening as rain passed through Atlanta.
Truist Park was dry at the originally scheduled 6:10 p.m. start time, but storms in the area prompted the delay of first pitch till 6:32 p.m.
The Sox were trying to snap a four-game losing streak after getting swept at Kansas City.
