Rams LT Alaric Jackson sued for allegedly non-consensual sex video

A woman filed a civil suit against Rams left tackle Alaric Jackson on Thursday, alleging that Jackson took a video of her without her consent during sex and refused to delete it despite her repeated demands.

The lawsuit, first reported by ESPN, says the unnamed woman reported the incident to the NFL. Jackson was suspended for the first two games of last season for an undisclosed violation of the league’s personal conduct policy.

A Rams spokesperson declined comment on the report due to the ongoing legal situation. Jackson and head coach Sean McVay are scheduled to speak with reporters about the situation Friday.

According to the lawsuit, filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, Jackson met the woman on Instagram before inviting her to visit him in Los Angeles in May 2024. During sex, she knocked his phone out of his hand, per ESPN, and later learned Jackson had been recording her without her consent.

When the woman demanded that he delete the video, Jackson told her she “would never know” whether he had deleted the video or not. After the woman returned to her home in Philadelphia and continued to ask that Jackson delete the video, he told her that he did, only to send the video to her the very next week, per ESPN.

Per ESPN, the lawsuit alleges the woman suffered “emotional distress, loss of privacy, and psychological harm.” It also cites violations of gender violence and revenge porn laws, along with allegations of invasion of privacy, intentional and negligent infliction of emotional distress, and fraud. ESPN also reported there is no evidence that Jackson posted the video online or shared it with another third party.

At the time of Jackson’s suspension, he and McVay declined to go into specifics about the nature of his violation of the NFL’s personal conduct policy.

Jackson described his actions at the time as “selfish”, adding, “It’s behind me now and we’re going to move forward with it.”
