The rapper’s cause of death was significant blood loss from a thigh wound he got jumping a fence while he was fleeing officers with the Atlanta Police Department, the medical examiner’s office said.

Cops responded to the scene on Friday night after Demetria Spence, 31, called 911 and reported a violent attack, APD said.

Spence claimed a naked woman was being dragged inside a home in Lakewood Heights in Atlanta with armed men inside.

She also claimed she heard gunfire and suggested a child was involved in the scene.

On the call, Spence refused to give her name and instead identified herself as the “neighborhood watch.”

“This situation that’s going on right now – this girl doesn’t have on any clothes. They threw her outside. He was fighting the girl. It sounded like they were fighting over drugs,” Spence said in the call.

“The house needs to be investigated. They’re doing illegal stuff over there.”

“He’s beating her bloody. He’s dragged her back in the house,” the caller said, saying she was being held hostage by one of the men “refusing to let her out” with “a child in danger as well.”

However, cops couldn’t confirm any of those reports when they got to the house, according to the APD.

When officers arrived, they only found Scooter and another man at the home, with no woman or child around.

A man opened the door to the cops before allegedly slamming it shut in their faces, causing cops to set a perimeter around the house, according to Atlanta Police Homicide Commander Lieutenant Andrew Smith.

Two men then ran out the back of the home.

As the rapper ran from the house, he hopped a fence and suffered the deadly leg injury.

Cops found him hurt and bleeding.

While we understand that many people are saddened by his passing, it is important to recognize that Atlanta police officers neither discharged their firearms nor used any force against Mr. Bailey.”

He was taken to the hospital, where he died.

The medical examiner’s office ruled Scooter’s death accidental, saying in the autopsy report it was caused by a “penetrating injury of the right thigh,” according to ABC affiliate WSB-TV.

The man who ran with the rapper, who hasn’t been identified, returned to the house and wasn’t accused of any crime.

It’s unclear why the men ran from the police.

Cops released audio of Spence’s full 911 call on Monday, sparking members of the public to raise speculation about the truth behind her call.

Less than a day after the 911 call was released, Spence was arrested and booked into the Fulton County Jail.

Spence is charged with transmitting a false public alarm.

NO GUNFIRE

After the preliminary autopsy report was released, rumors started spreading on social media that Scooter had been shot by cops.

APD released a statement correcting the false reports.

“The Atlanta Police Department is aware of inaccurate comments and social media posts regarding the death of Kenneth Bailey,” APD said in a statement.

“While we understand that many people are saddened by his passing, it is important to recognize that Atlanta police officers neither discharged their firearms nor used any force against Mr. Bailey.”

Young Scooter was a popular Atlanta rapper who rose to fame after signing to Future’s record label and releasing his 2012 mixtape Street Lottery.
