RICHMOND – Officers were involved in a shooting Monday night in Richmond, according to authorities.
The Richmond Police Department said the incident happened in the 400 block of First Street.
Additional details were not immediately available.
Authorities asked people to avoid the area and use alternate routes as the roadway is expected to be closed for several hours.
