RTD routes detoured, delayed for metro Denver ‘No Kings’ protests

Dozens of Regional Transportation District routes were detoured or delayed throughout metro Denver on Saturday as thousands of Coloradans gathered for “No Kings” protests against President Donald Trump’s policies.

RTD’s D and H lines are detouring to Union Station because of the protests, impacting the 16th Street/California, 16th Street/Stout, 18th Street/California, 18th Street/Stout, Colfax at Aurora and Theatre District/Convention Center stops.

Alternate stops include the Auraria West, Empower Field and Ball Arena stations.

Dozens of bus routes are also detoured because of the protests.

A full list of detours is available on RTD’s trip planner.

This is a developing story and may be updated.
