SAN JOSE — Authorities on Saturday were searching for a missing 12-year-old girl who was last seen Tuesday night.
Esha Peairs was last seen around 11:53 p.m. near Foxworthy Avenue and New Jersey Avenue in San Jose, according to an Ebony Alert issued Saturday by the California Highway Patrol on behalf of the San Jose Police Department.
Peairs is 5 feet tall and 100 pounds, authorities said. She has black hair and brown eyes. Authorities are unsure what clothing she was last seen wearing. A photo of her is included in the Ebony Alert on social media.
Authorities believe that Peairs is traveling by foot. Anyone who sees her is asked to call 911.
The Ebony Alert was issued for Santa Clara and Alameda counties.
