SAN JOSE — A business park in North San Jose has been bought by real estate investors with a wide range of expertise, including housing and medical offices.

Kayne Anderson has acted through an affiliate to buy the park at 780 Montague Expressway for $30 million, according to documents filed on Dec. 11 with the Santa Clara County Recorder’s Office.

The real estate firm has its principal offices in Los Angeles, but also operates out of offices in Florida, Texas, New York City, Chicago, and London, according to its website.

Pacific Realty Associates, acting through an affiliate, sold the 7-acre site, which is near Interstate 880.

The business park totals 95,000 square feet and consists of seven buildings that are occupied by many tenants, including small businesses, according to marketing materials.

A diverse group of companies occupy sites in the section of North San Jose, including several tech firms.

Kayne Anderson lists several fields of real estate expertise, according to its website.

“Since 2007, Kayne Anderson Real Estate has invested in alternative real estate sectors including medical office, high-end seniors housing, off-campus student housing/multifamily, and self-storage,” the website states.
