Second suspect sought in fatal Arapahoe County house party shooting

Arapahoe County sheriff’s deputies are searching for a second teenage suspect in this weekend’s fatal house party shooting and asking any witnesses to come forward.

Deputies responded to the shooting at a party in the 18900 block of East Crestridge Circle at 11:57 p.m. Saturday, according to the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office.

When they arrived, deputies found a 19-year-old in the driveway who had been shot multiple times in the chest, sheriff’s officials said. He died from his injuries at the scene.

One 17-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder, but deputies are searching for at least one other teenage suspect, according to a Tuesday update.

Sheriff’s officials described the suspect as a 5-foot-10-inch, 220-pound, 17-year-old or 18-year-old boy with blond hair.

Neither suspect has been publicly identified.

Anyone who was at the party or who has information on the shooting is asked to contact the sheriff’s office’s tip line at 720-874-8477. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
