Several thefts and burglaries reported in Los Gatos

Nov. 14

PETTY THEFT: 10:18 a.m. on Union Avenue. Someone stole a black and gray Trek FX1 bicycle. The total loss is around $800.

PETTY THEFT: 2:46 p.m. at 7-11 on North Santa Cruz Avenue. A woman said her boyfriend’s Uber took off with his belongings. The loss was about $500 and consisted of a bag, keys, Airpods, charger and clothes. She said she tried to contact Uber, but no one had responded to her.

GRAND THEFT: 5:45 p.m. on Los Gatos-Saratoga Road. A caller said their blue e-bike was stolen out of a parking garage sometime between Thursday morning and Friday afternoon. There was an Airtag attached to the bike that located it on Alberto Way.

PETTY THEFT: 6:55 p.m. at Oak Meadow Park on Blossom Hill Road. Between 3 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., a suspect broke into a woman’s car and stole her wallet, which had her driver’s license, health insurance card, credit cards and some cash. At around 3:30 p.m., the suspect made a $1,600 purchase on the woman’s credit card at the Apple store. The woman cancelled her cards to prevent further purchases.

Nov. 15

BURGLARY: 1 p.m. on Vineyard Court. A man returned home the previous night and noticed several doors and drawers open. He told police that a burglary might have happened between 10:30 a.m. and 10:30 p.m. He said he didn’t know if anything was missing and would call back if he determined there was a loss.

Nov. 16

STOLEN VEHICLE: 2:29 p.m. on Fillmer Avenue. A 2007 black Mercedes CL550 was stolen sometime between 8 p.m. the previous night and when they reported it. They said that one key is missing and was possibly left inside the vehicle.

AUTO BURGLARY: 8:30 p.m. at Double D’s on North Santa Cruz Avenue. A caller said that they saw two suspects breaking the rear passenger window on a white Kia Telluride. The witness said one of the suspects saw them and drove off in an SUV.
