Sky’s Angel Reese returns to starting lineup against Storm

Sky star Angel Reese will suit up and start against the Storm on Tuesday after missing several weeks with a back injury. The team announced on social media that she will be in the starting lineup.

She ramped up at practice over the weekend and went through shootaround Tuesday, with coach Tyler Marsh saying she looked good in both. She’ll be on a minutes restriction.

“I want to hoop,” Reese said before the game. “I’m just happy to be back out here to play the game I love.”

With 11 games left, the Sky are out of playoff contention, but Marsh said her presence can help restore competitiveness and lift the locker room.

“She’s a fighter, and we feed off of that,” he said.

It will also mark her first game alongside new point guard Sevgi Uzun, who recently joined the team on a rest-of-season deal.
