Southbound Interstate 225 closed for crash in Aurora

Southbound Interstate 225 is closed because of a three-vehicle crash in Aurora, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.

The interstate is closed at 17th Place, mile point 10, in Aurora because of a three-vehicle crash with multiple injuries, according to the Aurora Police Department.

Police are diverting traffic onto the 17th Place exit, where drivers can immediately get back onto the interstate. Delays should be expected.
