The death of a 30-year-old man stabbed in Auburn Gresham last week has been ruled a homicide, police said.
Mario D. Frazier became became embroiled in an argument with a 30-year-old woman about 11:20 p.m. Tuesday Nov. 25 in the 7700 block of South Carpenter Street, police said
The woman then stabbed Frazier in the neck with a sharp object. Frazier was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center where he died Friday, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office and police.
An autopsy Sunday determined Frazier died of multiple sharp force injuries and his death was ruled a homicide, according to the medical examiner’s office.
Area 2 detectives placed the woman into custody but she was not charged with anything as of Monday evening, police said.
