Sunday marked the busiest day of all time for the Transportation Security Administration at O’Hare Airport.
Nearly 116,000 travelers were screened at O’Hare Sunday — breaking the record of almost 114,000 screened set less than a month ago, the TSA said.
Seven of the top 10 busiest days for screening at O’Hare have happened in 2025, the agency said.
The TSA expects high screening volumes to continue and encourage travelers to arrive early and pack smart.
