An SUV burst into flames after its engine began smoking in traffic Friday morning near Soldier Field.
Firefighters responded to the SUV blaze sometime before 11:30 a.m. in the 400 block of East Waldron Drive, Chicago Fire Department officials said.
The SUV was in traffic when the engine began smoking, Chicago police said. After the driver pulled over, the vehicle became engulfed in flames.
No injuries were reported.
