An SUV driver ran over an employee’s foot after a foiled attempt to rob a smoke shop in North Hollywood Friday night, the Los Angeles Police Department said.
The attempted robbery occurred around 11:30 p.m. in the 3700 block of Cahuenga Boulevard. An unknown number of people entered the smoke shop and attempted to rob it before being chased out by an employee, police said. As the would-be robbers fled in a white SUV, the vehicle reportedly ran over the employee’s foot.
Police believe the employee suffered a broken foot. No additional information about any other injuries was immediately available.
