Starting at 7 a.m. Friday, Bannock Street from Colfax Avenue to 13th Avenue and 14th Avenue from Cherokee Street to Broadway closed down for the weekend, according to a Friday news release from PrideFest officials.

Colfax Avenue will shut down between Lincoln Street and Cherokee Street at 6 p.m. Friday, and Broadway will close from the 16th Street Mall to 13th Avenue at 7 p.m., the release said.

All roads will reopen at 11:59 p.m. Sunday, June 23, PrideFest officials said.

Sunday’s Denver PrideFest parade also will shut down Colfax Avenue between Lincoln and Franklin streets starting at 9 a.m., and that section of the closure will reopen once the parade is complete, officials said.

The parade will run through 14 blocks of Colfax Avenue, beginning at Cheesman Park and ending at Civic Center Park.
