Lisa Schulte’s Neon Art – Auction by Abell Auction Co.: The artist created new neon art that was requested by set decorators for use in films, television shows, music videos, and also for special events. Gr818ers – A Family Affair Festival: The 15th annual celebration begins with a “stream-a-thon” about the group’s past and present, 2-7 p.m. Aug. 14 on the Gr818ers’ YouTube Channel. The “Jam at the Taxco Theatre,” with solo performances — the top 16 of the theme open street dance styles dance battle —5-9 p.m. Aug. 15 ($15 admission at the Los Angeles Department Cultural Affairs theater; 7242 Owensmouth Ave., Canoga Park). Wings Over Camarillo Air Show: The 44th event includes aerial performances, a classic car and motorcycle show, vintage and present-day military aircraft display, a STEM pavilion and a “Veterans Hangar,” 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Aug. 16-17.
