Three missing sisters found dead after going to visit dad as manhunt for him is underway

Three young sisters who vanished while going to visit their homeless father have been discovered dead – and he is wanted for murder.
Paityn Decker, 9; Evelyn Decker, 8; and Olivia Decker, 5, were found dead near their dad’s truck close to a campground in Wenatchee, Washington, late Monday, police said.
Their mother reported them missing on Friday night after they left home to visit their father, Travis Decker, 32.
AMBER alerts for the girls were suddenly canceled on Monday night, and police confirmed their deaths on Tuesday.
‘The Wenatchee Police Department (WPD) in saddened to report the three missing girls have been found deceased,’ stated the agency.
‘We want to express our sincere and deep heartfelt condolences to the family at this time.’
On Saturday, the police department wrote on Facebook that the three girls had ‘left their home with the father for their planned visitation’ and had not returned, and that contact could not be made with him.
Decker was described as homeless and living in his vehicle or various motels or hotels around the Rock Island Campground in Chelan County.
Decker is wanted for three counts of first-degree murder, and first-degree kidnapping.
He formerly served in the military and has ‘extensive training’, according to the police department. It is not known if he is armed.
‘Due to safety concerns do not attempt to contact or approach Decker,’ stated the police department.
Anyone who may have seen Decker or knows where he may be is urged to call 911.
‘WPD, along with the other regional, state, and federal agencies are committed to working diligently to bring closure to this case,’ wrote the police department.
