Three people killed after crash between car and lorry on motorway

Three people were killed when their collided with a lorry on a West Midlands motorway on Thursday.

The vehicles crashed on the A4103 near Bransford, Worcestershire, just before 3.30pm.

Paramedics found the occupants of the car – two women and a man – in critical condition.

They were treated with ‘advanced life support’ but ‘it became apparent nothing could be done to save them and they were confirmed dead at the scene’, emergency services said.

The driver of the lorry was treated for minor injuries at the scene.

He was then taken to hospital ‘as a precaution’ and is understood to be in good condition.
