A tow truck driver crashed into a woman’s vehicle in River North and then shot at her windshield early Friday, Chicago police say.
The woman was driving adjacent to the tow truck in the 800 block of North LaSalle Street around 3:50 a.m., and then the truck driver rear-ended her vehicle, police said in a statement.
The truck driver then opened fire, striking the 34-year-old woman’s windshield, police said. The truck driver fled after the incident and the woman was unhurt.
Police said no one was in custody.
