Several CTA train lines were delayed Friday morning after a fire on the tracks in the Loop.
Brown and Purple Line trains were still delayed as of 10:45 a.m. after a fire near Adams Street and Wabash Avenue shortly before 7 a.m., the CTA said.
Green, Pink and Orange Line trains were delayed earlier in the day but running with normal service by 10:45 a.m. according to the CTA.
The Chicago Fire Department was on the scene but didn’t immediately respond to questions about the fire.
Shuttle bus service was offered to riders affected by the fire, according to the CTA.
