Donald Trump accused his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin of providing little but ‘bulls***’ as peace talks around Ukraine have failed to progress.
The US president ripped Putin during a Cabinet meeting at the White House and said he was considering more sanctions on Russia.
‘We get a lot of bulls*** thrown at us by Putin, for you want to know the truth,’ Trump told reporters.
‘He’s very nice all the time, but it turns out to be meaningless.’

Trump admitted that brokering a ceasefire for the three-year Russia-Ukraine war has been more difficult than he anticipated.
‘It’s turned out to be tougher, but it’s only tougher,’ Trump said.
‘And I will say the Ukrainians were brave, but we gave them the best equipment ever made.’
Asked about a bill proposed in the Senate to increase sanctions on Moscow, Trump replied: ‘I’m looking at it very strongly.’
