Two dead & 3 injured in horror mass shooting in Virginia as cops launch manhunt for suspect after shooter flees scene

TWO people are dead and three injured after a mass shooting in Virginia.

The gunman shot down the five victims before fleeing as police launch an urgent manhunt.

The shooting happened outside the HM White Bus Service garage, in Suffolk, Virginia (pictured)

Cops rushed to the scene and found multiple people with gun wounds at around 11.25pm on Thursday night.

One man was pronounced dead at the scene and the second did from his injuries in hospital.

The other three victims were rushed to hospital and are recieving medical treatment.

They were shot in Suffolk, a large city in Virginia on the north-east coast.

Police scoured the scene overnight in their search for evidence as they attempt to track down the shooter.

None of the victims have been named and the condition of those in hospital is unknown.

Those with any information have been asked to contact Suffolk Police or Suffolk Crime Line at 888-LOCK-U-UP. 

Just this week a 21-year-old football player at West Virginia State university was shot dead.

He was found at home in his apartment in Charleston, cops confirmed.

They are investigating it as a home invasion.

The US was rocked by a school shooting in Georgia last week when 14-year-old student Colt Gray killed four people and injured 9.
