After House Democrats on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee released more photos which they received from the Estate of Jeffrey Epstein, U.S. Representative James Walkinshaw (D-VA) appeared on MS Now and said, “I lay awake at night wondering why Donald Trump hasn’t released those Department of Justice files.”

[Note: The photos include images of President Trump, former President Bill Clinton, Microsoft founder Bill Gates, and Trump’s former White House advisor Steve Bannon, and numerous other prominent men.]

Walkinshaw said: “The Department of Justice has emails, we know, suspect that they have video evidence as well. So the context for the photos we’ve received that have been released and not released are in those files. And look, Donald Trump could release the files today. Deadline’s Friday. He could release them today, Monday, as he could have released them for many many months. He’s chosen not to do that.”

Walkinshaw added: “Trump’s @TheJusticeDept is under subpoena to provide Epstein material to Congress, but they haven’t complied” — referring to the Oversight Committee’s demand for Epstein materials from the DOJ, which he says would supply missing “context.”

Walkinshaw also noted the recent House and Senate votes — after Kentucky Republican Thomas Massie’s discharge petition — that requires a full public release of the Epstein material possessed by the DOJ.

“The law now says the files must be released this Friday,” Walkinshaw wrote with his post, “Trump could release them today. Why hasn’t he? With new photos surfacing, the questions continue to mount.”

House Oversight Committee Ranking Member Robert Garcia (D-CA) said of the files: “Some of the other photos that we did not put out today are incredibly disturbing.”

Note: When asked about the recent release of photos on Friday night, Trump said, “Well, I haven’t seen it, but I mean, everybody knew this man.” He added of Epstein: “He was all over Palm Beach. He has photos with everybody. I mean, almost there are hundreds and hundreds of people that have photos with him…So that’s no big deal. I know nothing about it.”
