Super Mario, Harry Potter and the Grinch will help Universal Studios Hollywood ring in the Christmas holiday season in the Mushroom Kingdom, Hogsmeade and Who-ville at the Hollywood theme park.
Universal Studios Hollywood will celebrate the 2025 winter holiday season from Nov. 24 through Jan. 4 with a light projection show, live music, seasonal menu items, character meet-and-greet photo ops and themed Christmas trees.

Universal will deck the halls this holiday season in Super Nintendo World and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter along with a 65-foot-tall Grinchmas tree and live music in CityWalk.
Super Nintendo World will get a colorful holiday overlay with a Super Star-topped Christmas tree, Mario and Luigi snowmen and seasonal menu items at Toadstool Cafe.

Christmas in Hogsmeade Village will bring holiday performances by the Frog Choir and seasonal food at Three Broomsticks along with magical garlands, wreaths and lights.
“The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle” light projection show will play each night in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

The Grinchmas festivities will take over Universal Plaza on the upper lot with plenty of whimsical Who-centric holiday activities and decor.
Grinchmas entertainment includes Cindy-Lou Who reading “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” and the Grinch posing for meet-and-greet photo ops along with his dog Max.

Visitors can make their own Grinchmas paper ornaments, send a postcard at the Who-ville post office and sample holiday themed treats.
The topsy-turvy Grinchmas tree with thousands of LED lights will be lit and snow soap-flakes will fall during a nightly ceremony.

Universal CityWalk will host live bands, DJs and street performers in the 5 Towers area of the outdoor shopping mall along with a 40-foot-tall Christmas tree boasting 200,000 LED lights.
The winter holiday activities are included with your ticket to Universal Studios Hollywood and admission to Universal CityWalk is free.
