Aldi has issued an urgent ‘do not eat’ warning for a popular snack due to possible traces of nuts.
Dairyfine Crispy Choc Ums have been withdrawn from shelves as they may contain peanuts, which are not listed as an ingredient in the chocolates.
Customers who have purchased packs should not eat them and instead return to the store where it was bought for a full refund.
The recall affects all 121g bags with all use by dates.
The chocolates presented a ‘possible health risk’ to those suffering from peanut allergies, the Food Standards Agency said.
