Urgent recall of Lidl’s Harvest Basket hash browns over fears they contain metal

Lidl has issued an urgent recall of its Harvest Basket Hash Browns over fears they could contain metal.
The budget supermarket said the metal could be a choking hazard.
The recall, shared by Food Standards Agency (FSA), affects 750g packs with a batch code of 5144L and a best before of May 2027.
Customers who have bought the hash browns have been told not to eat them.
They can return the product to their nearest store for a full refund.

The hash browns could contain metal
In another recall this week, shoppers are being asked to stop buying a range of American sweets that should never have been on shop shelves to begin with.
Fruit-flavoured hard candies and gummies by Jolly Rancher, which is owned by chocolate giant Hershey’s, have been recalled.
The Food Standards Agency (FSA) said they contain mineral oil hydrocarbons, which come from raw crude oil and other fossil fuels.
