Running back Waymond Jordan is coming back to USC for his senior season instead of declaring for the NFL Draft.
“I’m coming back for another year because I feel like we left a lot of things on the table,” Jordan said in a social media video. “We’re coming back for everything and we’ve got a great thing building here in LA.”
Jordan, a Hutchinson Community College transfer, rushed for 576 yards and five touchdowns on 88 carries before missing the final six games of the season due to injury.
He will likely be the Trojans’ primary ball-carrier next season. Eli Sanders is out of eligibility and Bryan Jackson as well as Harry Dalton III both intend to enter the transfer portal, according to reports.
King Miller and Riley Wormley are both set to return to USC next season.
Trojans quarterback Jayden Maiava, receiver Ja’Kobi Lane and Biletnikoff winner Makai Lemon have yet to announce if they will declare for the draft or return to college football.
